May 15 has been designated
by the United Nations as
International Day of Families.
Through our youth and
community development
programs, our Volunteers
around the globe work with
young people to help them
develop skills for transitioning
from school to work, becoming engaged and
active citizens in their communities, and, ultimately,
preparing for family life as independent and mature
