
Pinecrest Community’s CEO, Ferol
Labash, is pleased to announce that
Jonathan Shively has been named the
new director of advancement for
Pinecrest. Jonathan began his work
with Pinecrest on November 2.
Jonathan brings a wealth of
experience to his new role. Jonathan served as the
executive director of Congregational Life Ministries
with the Church of the Brethren for eight years.
Prior to that, he worked as the director of the
Brethren Academy for Ministerial Leadership, as
pastor for the Pomona Fellowship Church of the
Brethren, and as adjunct faculty for Bethany
Theological Seminary. Jonathan holds degrees from
Elizabethtown College (B.A. in Music), Bethany
Theological Seminary (Master of Divinity), Fuller
Theological Seminary (Doctor of Ministry), a
graduate certificate in nonprofit administration, and
has completed coursework in fundraising and longterm
care administration.
Jonathan is the founder and principal of
ArtistryLeads, a consulting firm that offers
leadership and board development, executive
coaching, staff and volunteer training, and strategic
planning and innovation for organizations. Jonathan
will continue work with ArtistryLeads in addition to
his work at Pinecrest as director of advancement.
Jonathan’s deep connections with the Church of the
Brethren and the richness of his work experience
will enhance his work as Pinecrest’s director of
advancement and will make him a valuable member
of the Pinecrest administrative team.
