Join the 2006 Annual Conference Choir

Singers are needed for the Annual Conference choir this summer in Des Moines. Please consider this invitation to share your God-given gifts with the larger church and to honor our Lord, who is worthy to be praised!
The choir sings at each worship service during the Conference. Anthems are: a contemporary "Shine On Us" by M.W. Smith, "Adoration Medley," arr. by Mark Hayes which is a combination of "Christ, We Do All Adore Thee" and "Glorify Thy Name"; "Just a Closer Walk," Arr. by Jack Schrader, with a gospel feel; "We'll Be There!" by Don Besig; and "We Have Come This Far by Faith," by Joseph Martin.
Carolyn Fitzkee directs this years choir accompanied by Connie Burkholder. Carolyn graduated from Elizabethtown College. For the past 14 years she has directed the men's chorus of the Chiques Church of the Brethren, near Manheim, Pa. Connie graduated from Lebanon Valley College in Annville, Pa. and is District Executive of the Northern Plains District. Connie directs the choir and accompanies a women's ensemble at the Ankeny (Iowa) Church of the Brethren.

We recommended pre-registration, but music can be purchased at the first rehearsal in Des Moines on Saturday, July 1, at 4:15 p.m. in the Veterans Memorial Auditorium.
