is seeking a
Director of Social Services. The primary purpose
of this position is to plan, organize, develop and
direct the overall operation of the facility’s Social
Service Department in accordance with current
federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and
regulations, our established policies and procedures
to assure that the medically related emotional and
social needs of the residents are met and maintained
on an individual basis. This person manages the
admission process and needs to be knowledgeable in
the area of Medicare, Medicaid and insurance. The
qualified candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in
Social Work (Master’s preferred) and must be
licensed in the State of Illinois. Must possess
leadership ability and willingness to work
harmoniously with and supervise personnel. A
minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a long term
care facility or other related medical facility is
required.
