SHARINGS FROM OUR SISTERS AND BROTHERS ACROSS THE DISTRICT

A prayer concern at Douglas Park is for Carol Aldridge. Carol entered the hospital on Nov. 13, 2004. She was finally diagnose with a blood infection (severe). She is still in the hospital. She had trache put in shortly after entering the hospital. She lost her ability to walk and talk. She was partially comatose for several weeks. She is slowly regaining her ability to move. She is able to stand for an hour now and is trying to talk. She communicates by writing. She is in a rehab center now. The hopes are for her to be home in a couple months. Please request prayers for her continued recovery. Her husband A D has been so faithful in going to see her as well as continuing working.

Other news; Our pastor is now Shirley Petracek. She does not use a computer, so my e-mail will have to do. Shirley was licensed on Oct. 31, 2004. We have also a moderator now. We voted Deborah Lolling in as our moderator.
